El pony Shetland ( Del Nora Shetland Ponis)

En un marco idílico, como si se tratara de la misma Escocia, pero en este caso, de nuestra Escocia particular española: Asturias. Podemos encontrar la nueva familia de ponies Shetland que Alejandro Zarzuelo ha creado junto a su mujer “Del Nora Shetland Ponis”. Un sueño que moldean junto a sus hijos para crear un bonito futuro para sus ponies y seguramente para el futuro de esta raza en España.

In an Idílico setting, as if it were Scotland itself, but in this case, our particular Spanish Scotland:Asturias. We can find the new family of Shetland ponies that Alejandro Zarzuelo has created with his wife “Del Nora Shetland Ponis”. A dream that they mold together with their children to create a beautiful future for their ponies and surely for the future of this breed in Spain.

Tonga y Lupin, son presente y futuro como sementales de esta preciosa pequeña ganadería de ponies Shetland afincada en Meres ( Asturias). Anisha y Firstlady, las hembras, completan la manada de Shetland, aunque también poseen una bellísima alazana pony de la raza Welsh Cob llamada Heavenlytempest Chery. Alejandro ha creado con mucha ilusión y ganas esta ganadería de talla standard (96 a 107cm)y sus ponies están inscritos en el Studbook francés. Estoy segura de que todos ellos traerán a la ganadería familiar muchas alegrías y éxitos.

Tonga and Lupin are present and future as stallions of this beautiful small herd of Shetland ponies settled in Meres (Asturias). Anisha and First Lady complete the Shetland herd, although they also own a beautiful chestnut pony of the Welsh Cob breed called Heavenlytempest Chery. Alejandro has created with love and desire this herd of standard size (97 to 107 cm) and the ponies are registered in the French Studbook.

Cuando fui a visitar estos preciosos ponies quedé prendada de su tranquilidad y su cariño, pero fue Lupin del Nora quién me enamoró con su precioso ojito azul y su pelaje de peluche. El futuro de “Del Nora Ponis Shetland”.

When I went to visit these beautiful ponies I was captivated by their tranquility and affection, but it was Lupin Del Nora who made me fall in love with his beautiful blue eye and his stuffed fur. The future of “Del Nora Ponis Shetland”.

La raza Shetland.

El pony Shetland es la raza de pony más pequeño del mundo, es originario de las Islas Shetland en Escocía. Son animales pequeños y cariñosos sobre todo con los los niños, fieles amigos suyos. De largas y abundantes crines nos dejan preciosas estampas allí dónde están. Podemos encontrar una gran variedad de colores en las capas, podemos ver ponies negros, castaños, tordos, palominos…

The Shetland pony is the smallest pony breed in the world, it is originally from the Shetland Islands in Scotland. They are small and affectionate animals especially with children, faithful friends of yours. With long and abundant Mamés, they leave us beautiful pictures wherever they are. We can find a great variety of colours in the capes, we can see black ponies, chestnut, gray, palomino…

Este pony es fuerte y musculado. En Invierno tiene una capa muy gruesa de pelaje óptima para el frío y la lluvia. En esta raza podemos diferenciar dos tamaños diferentes.: el pony Shetland original (no debe superar 107 de alzada) y el Shetland miniatura también llamado Mini-Shetland (menos de 87 cm de altura)

This pony is strong and muscular. In winter they have a very thick coat of fur that is optimal for cold and rain. In this breed we can differentiate two different sizes: the original Shetland pony and the miniature Shetland (107cm) also called Mini Shetland (87cm)

Son muy populares por su carácter dócil y su capacidad de aprendizaje. Podemos encontrar Shetland también en enganche y en varias disciplinas donde los niños son sus mejores amigos.

They are so famous for their docile nature and their ability to learn. We can find Shetland also in hitch and in various disciplines where children are their best friends.

Una de las cosas que más me llamo la atención en esta visita además de la bondad y belleza del pony Shetland, fue ver la mirada de futuro de Alejandro y su mujer creando este precioso sueño de criar ponies mientras sus hijos crecían disfrutando de los animales y la naturaleza. Me pareció una propuesta preciosa de futuro ante sus hijos y ante estos preciosos animales.

One of the things that most caught my attention on this visit, in addition to the goodness and beauty of the Shetland pony, was seeing the future look of Alejandro and his wife creating this precious dream of raising ponies while their children grew up enjoying the animals and nature. It seemed to me a beautiful proposal for the future before their children and before these precious animals, very pretty.
