Hoy quiero compartir con vosotros la experiencia que he tenido de grabar un videoclip con mi caballo. Antes de nada debo dar las gracias a Isaac García por querer contar conmigo en su proyecto al querer grabar conmigo. Isaac, es conocido en Astorga por ser un gran cantautor y por su prodigiosa voz.
Today I want to share with you the experience I have had of recording a video clip with my horse. First of all I must thank Isaac García for wanting to have me in his project to want to record with me.
Cuando Isaac se puso en contacto conmigo para grabar y me explicó un poco la idea que tenía, tengo que decir que no me pudo gustar más. El vídeo grabado en la Cepeda, en La Carrera de Otero y Sopeña de Carneros, nos llevan a un paraje natural y precioso, escenario perfecto para montar a caballo.
When Isaac contacted me to record and explained a little about the idea I had, I have to say that I could not like it anymore. The video recorded in La Cepeda, in La Carrera de Otero and Sopeña de Carneros, take us to a natural and beautiful place, perfect setting for riding.
Tuvimos que esperar un poco para empezar porque fue una época de lluvias muy intensa , de hecho el verano estaba comenzando y el paisaje estaba verde como si fuera primavera; además hubo días que no pudimos grabar por tormentas y un día nos pilló por el camino.
We had to wait a bit to start because it was a very intense rainy season, in fact the summer was beginning and the landscape was green as if it were spring; There were also days that we could not record due to storms and one day we were caught on the road.
La canción elegida fue «Let it be» de John Lenon, que supongo que muchos conoceréis. El «cover» de Isaac junto con el video tienen esa mezcla de sensibilidad y nostalgia rodeados de Naturaleza.
The song chosen was «Let it be» by John Lenon, which I guess many will know. The «cover» of Isaac along with the video have that mixture of sensitivity and nostalgia surrounded by Nature.
La experiencia fue muy positiva, y el caballo se portó genial, teniendo en cuenta la cantidad de repetición de escenas que hay que hacer, el calor, los mosquitos, el cansancio…aun asi todo salió muy bien y orgullosa estoy de haber podido participar junto a Hermes en este proyecto.
The experience was very positive, and the horse was great, considering the amount of repetition of scenes that have to be done, the heat, the mosquitoes, the fatigue … even so everything went very well and I’m proud I could have participate with Hermes in this project.
Las escenas del río junto con las del dron, fueron quizá las más bonitas y también las que más tomas llevaron (En este caso el rio), pero cuando ves el trabajo finalizado y montado es increíble lo bonito que puede quedar un video. Normalmente, estoy acostumbrada más a la fotografía y para mí hacer un video era un poco reto…el video requiere que actúes más, reflejar sentimientos y transmitir unas serie de actitudes que la fotografía no te da.
The scenes of the river along with those of the drone, were perhaps the most beautiful and also those that took more shots (In this case the river), but when you see the work completed and mounted is amazing how beautiful a video can be. I’m usually more used to photography and for me making a video was a bit challenging … the video requires you to act more, reflect feelings and convey a series of attitudes that photography does not give you.
Creo que el vídeo refleja muy bien la conexión entre caballo y amazona, y va más allá con esa complicidad a lo largo de toda la grabación. Espero que os guste el resultado final tanto o más que a mí.
I think the video reflects very well the connection between horse and rider, and goes further with that complicity throughout the entire recording. I hope you like the final result as much or more than me.
