We travel to the United Kingdom once again to talk about horse riding. Today I want to focus on a place in the heart of London, where there is nature, peace, harmony … and where we can also see horses !! Follow me on this walk through Rotten Row in Hyde Park.
Como una enamorada de Inglaterra, no podía esperar más a describiros la multitud de sensaciones que tuve cuando descubrí que en Hyde Park era posible disfrutar de pasear a caballo.
As a lover of England, I could not wait to describe the multitude of sensations I had when I discovered that in Hyde Park it was possible to enjoy horseback riding.
Rotten Row es un camino o pista de arena que recorre Hyde Park en Londres. Tiene 1,38 de largo y el recorrido nos lleva desde el Hyde Park Corner hasta Serpentine Road. (En la imagen de abajo Rotten Row y Serpentine: monumento dedicado a la desaparecida Lady Di, una fuente donde el agua va en sentidos opuestos )
Rotten Row is a road or sand track that runs through Hyde Park in London. It is 1.38 long and the route takes us from the Hyde Park Corner to Serpentine Road. (You can see in the image: Rotten Row and Serpentine (dedicated to the dissapeared Lady Di))
En la antigüedad Rotten Row era el lugar favorito de los Londinenses de clase alta para ir a pasear y ver caballos.
In antiquity Rotten Row was the favorite place for high-class Londoners to go for a walk and see horses.
En Rotten Row puedes ver a agentes de la policía a caballo, puedes ver a aficionados disfrutando de su afición e incluso puedes ver grupos turísticos pertenecientes a Escuelas Inglesas.
In Rotten Row you can see police officers on horseback, you can see fans enjoying their hobby and you can even see tourist groups belonging to English Schools.
La escuela más conocida hasta hace poco ha sido Hyde Park stables situada allí donde había clases de equitación y también se daban paseos turísticos. La escuela ha sido cerrada el pasado Octubre pero nos deja bonitos momentos de Hyde Park a caballo.
The best known school until recently has been Hyde Park stables located where there were riding lessons and also touring. The school was closed last October but it leaves us beautiful moments of Hyde Park on horseback.
A pesar del frío, de la nieve, la lluvia o el calor del verano…los caballos y sus jinetes o amazonas disfrutan del deporte ecuestre y de la belleza del parque londinense. Imágenes como las que vemos nos hacen hacernos una idea de lo bonito que es éste lugar.
Despite the cold, the snow, the rain or the summer heat … the horses and their riders or amazons enjoy the equestrian sport and the beauty of the London park. Images like the ones we see make us get an idea of how beautiful this place is.

En Ross Nye Stables puedes disfrutar también de paseos por Hyde Park, la escuela fundada en 1965, es la más antigua que ofrece paseos a caballo por la parte central de Londres.
Caballos y equitación han sido sinónimo de Hyde Park desde el reinado de Enrique VIII, cuando se usó como coto de caza para la Corte de los Tudor. Los Carriage Horses de Royal Mews en el Palacio de Buckingham todavía entrenan diariamente en el Parque, por lo que es posible que vean a los cocheros conduciendo a lo largo de Rotten Row.

Horses and riding have been synonymous with Hyde Park since the reign of Henry VIII, when it was used as a hunting ground for the Court of the Tudors. The Royal Mews Carriage Horses at Buckingham Palace still train daily in the Park, so you may see the drivers driving along Rotten Row.
Tenía muchas ganas de hablaros de este fabuloso lugar, porque si viajáis y queréis seguir disfrutando de vuestra afición, Reino Unido es un país óptimo para ello. Es un país que me encanta y al que siempre que puedo me escapo. Allí tenéis muchos lugares para visitar y sobre los que he escrito en otros post como el cambio de guardia o el museo de caballería. Todos son sin duda lugares que no debéis olvidar visitar por que os encantarán.
I really wanted to tell you about this fabulous place, because if you travel and want to continue enjoying your hobby, the United Kingdom is an optimal country for it. It is a country that I love and that I escape whenever I can. There you have many places to visit and about which I have written in other post as the changing of the guard or the cavalry museum. All are undoubtedly places that you should not forget to visit because you will love them
