Sevilla y su feria de Abril

Dicen que Sevilla tiene un color un especial, pero para mí, todos los colores que tiene Sevilla son especiales. Todos los colores allí resaltan más que en otros lugares y la alegría que dan se contagian en sus calles y en sus monumentos, en su gente y sobretodo en su feria.

They say that Seville has a special color, but for me, all the colors that Seville has are special. All the colors there stand out more than in other places and the joy they give is spread in its streets and its monuments, in its people and especially in its fair.

La fiesta de Primavera más conocida de Sevilla es La Feria de Abril, normalmente se celebra generalmente dos semanas después de la Semana Santa y es , donde Sevilla despliega su colorido y todo su arte. Declarada de Interés Turístico Internacional, la Feria de Abril registra normalmente unos 500.000 visitantes diarios.

The best-known spring festival in Seville is La Feria de Abril, normally usually celebrated two weeks after Easter and that is where Seville displays its color and all its art. Declared of International Tourist Interest, the April Fair normally registers around 500,000 daily visitors.

La feria se celebra en el reciento ferial del Real, allí es donde están todas las casetas y donde pasean los coches de caballos.

Las calles del Real , la convierten en una pequeña ciudad con sus casetas, Las calles tiene su propio nombre y las casetas un número, y sean privadas o públicas, está garantizada la diversión.

Los cocheros van cada uno con su traje corto y sombrero de ala ancha, los caballos van ataviados con sus bordas y cascabeles. El recorrido de los carros está establecido por varias manzanas de lo que es la parte del Real y su horario es de 12 de la mañana a las ocho de la tarde. Allí también vemos jinetes y amazonas con sus caballos, también de corto y las mujeres de amazonas o flamencas (a la grupa).

The drivers go each with their short suit and wide-brimmed hat, the horses are dressed with their boards and bells. El alumbrado nocturno es un espectáculo de luces de colores que dan paso a largas calles llenas de casetas, de colorido, cantos de sevillanas, bailes flamencos y mucha diversión. Las luces del alumbrado están encendidas hasta las 3 de la mañana excepto el sábado que están hasta las seis y el domingo que se apagan coincidiendo con los fuegos artificiales que hay allí.

The lights are lit up until 3 in the morning except on Saturday that are until six and Sunday that are extinguished coinciding with the fireworks that are there.

Aquí, sobre esta imagen con unos preciosos frisones.. que son una de mis debilidades…eran elegantes y muy cariñosos.

Mulas y caballos son los protagonistas con cascabeles, adornos y campanillas, ellos son los encargados de tirar los coches de caballos y de pasear a quien lo desee por las calles del Real.
