Un día de Acoso y Derribo para no olvidar

Es en el campo donde los sueños de todo aficionado a la doma vaquera, a los caballos, al ganado… se hacen realidad. Cuando pienso en las ganaderías viene a mi mente lo difícil que era en la antigüedad hacer las labores del campo, ahí no existían los perjuicios de nada, ni las «pijerías» de la actualidad, ahí solo era importante el trabajo y la constancia de cada trabajador por sacar sus sueños adelante o su vida en el campo.

El post de hoy va dedicado al día que pasé hace un par de semanas en la provincia de Salamanca en la Dehesa de San Joaquín de Huelmos, donde pasé un día inmejorable rodeada de amigos y gente buena, de esa que aunque veas cada poco, es gente que comparte afición y cosas que se llevan en el corazón, y sobre todo gente que ama la equitación.

Aficionados, profesionales del toreo a pie y a caballo, amigos, familia, un lugar maravilloso y tranquilo dónde pasamos un día genial. Allí estuve viendo el Acoso y Derribo, una disciplina que engancha mucho a la gente del campo y disfruta mucho pasando un día con amigos.

When I think of the herds of cattle, it comes to my mind how difficult it was in ancient times to do farm work, there were no detriments of anything, nor the present days, only the work and the constancy of each worker were important. Today’s post is dedicated to the day I spent a couple of weeks ago in the province of Salamanca in the meadow of San Joaquín de Huelmos, where I spent an unbeatable day surrounded by friends and good people, of which although you see every bit, it is People who share a hobby and things that are carried in the heart, and especially people who love riding.

Fans, bullfighting professionals, friends, family, a wonderful and quiet place where we spent a great day.There I saw Harassment and Demolition, a discipline that engages the people of the countryside a lot and enjoys spending a day with friends.

El Acoso y derribo es una disciplina ecuestre que tiene sus orígenes en la maneja y tienta del ganado, fue utilizado por los ganaderos de ganado bravo desde mediados del siglo XIX hasta mediados del XX. El acoso y derribo se hace en parejas, formada por un garrochista y un amparador, su objetivo es perseguir las reses desde caballos y derribarlas con las garrocha para ver su comportamiento. Las reses bravas en vez de huir se enfrentaban a los caballos, fué ahí cuando se dejó de usar con reses bravas, ésta práctica se abandono para más adelante practicarse con ganado manso hasta lo que es la actualidad.

El acoso y derribo consiste en soltar a una res en un corredero en el que dos jinetes, garrochista y amparador, la persiguen durante unos 600 metros hasta llegar al saltadero. En el saltadero, el garrochista, ayudado por el amparador, deberá derribarla.

El número de derribos es de dos para las reses bravas y tres para las mansas, y deben conseguirse en tres minutos.

The harassment and demolition is done in pairs, formed by a garrochista and a helper, its objective is to chase the cattle from horses and to demolish them with the garrotcha to see their behavior. Si os soy sincera mientras estaba eligiendo las fotos de este post, y recordando el día que pasamos, siento que las fotos me llevan a un lugar lleno de sentimiento y pasión. Creo que hay cosas que no se pueden contar, son demasiado bonitas o demasiado «vividas» como para reflejarlas en ningún sitio, pero lo bueno de ello, es que se quedarán en mi corazón para siempre. He intentado plasmar lo más bonito de aquel día, que si bien , no me llegan las palabras, seguro que con las fotos podréis comprobarlo.

If I am sincere, while I was choosing the photos of this post, and remembering the day we spent, I feel that the photos take me to a place full of feeling and passion. I think there are things that can not be counted, are too beautiful or too «lived» to reflect them anywhere, but the good thing about it, is that they will stay in my heart forever. I tried to capture the most beautiful of that day, that although, I do not get the words, surely with the photos you can check.

Después de la mañana de Acoso y Derribo, a la tarde pudimos disfrutar de una capea, donde muchos nos lanzamos al ruedo y es que todo esto fue una bonita jornada fruto del XX aniversario del rejoneador Sergio Galán en los ruedos. Desde aquí con mucho cariño le deseo mucho animo y suerte en esta temporada. Y os dejo un pedacito de ese día, espero que os guste el post de hoy y las fotos!
