Manzaneda se encuentra en un lugar envuelto por la magia de la naturaleza, en un paraje privilegiado en el municipio de Gozón, en Asturias. Rodeado de Naturaleza y con la proximidad del mar, allí se encuentra el día a día de Leonardo Medal y de sus caballos de competición de salto de obstáculos.

La verdad que cuando atravesé el camino que me llevaba al centro de Manzaneda, un sentimiento de libertad recorrió mi cuerpo. Y allí de repente pude ver en la lejanía la silueta de una yegua con su potrillo.

En Manzaneda se disputan concursos de salto, allí es donde el jinete Leonardo Medal prepara a sus caballos de competición y donde los mima y los cuida para que cuando salgan a la pista brillen como unos campeones que son.

Gracias al blog he podido conocer muchas cuadras e instalaciones hípicas, y sin duda alguna puedo decir que ésta es de las que más me ha gustado, por el lugar que se encuentra lleno de vegetación (precioso) y además en Asturias, y porque los caballos y sus instalaciones son para mí de gran calidad.

Y allí entonces fue donde conocí al Rey de Gozón, un caballo precioso con un corazón de saltador , el cual fue campeón de España de caballos de 6 años en 2013 y que sigue cosechando muchos triunfos actualmente en el mundo del salto de obstáculos.

Y es que tuve la oportunidad de verle en la pista saltando y me encantó.
El salto de obstáculos es un deporte que mueve a muchos aficionados y además es muy apasionante, sobre todo la tanda final cuando tienen que desempatar y solo existe el tiempo, la velocidad y los obstáculos…y sólo puedo decir que este caballo cumple la regla a la perfección.
