La Madrid Horse Week

Bajo el cielo gris lluvioso de Madrid se escondía en sus pabellones del Ifema el pequeño gran mundo de los caballos; en su cuarta edición y creciendo y aspirando cada vez a lo más alto.

Caballos, caballos y caballos, para que tu afición sea más grande, para que tu disfrute sea pleno, el mejor sitio dónde puedes pasártelo muy bien sin quitarle el ojo a los caballos, en su mayoría siempre grandes de tamaño y de corazón, un recinto lleno de campeones internacionales con sus jinetes, de aficionados enamorados de todo lo que tienen delante, de stands de marcas competitivas y de calidad mostrando sus mejores productos.

Cuando traspasas las puertas de la Madrid Horse Week su encanto te cubre con ganas de disfrutar, de ver y de conocer más sobre el mundo del caballo. En el post de hoy os voy a contar un poquito de todo lo que vi allí… os dejo un poquito de lo que se vivió ahí..

Sea la disciplina que sea, salto, doma, doma western, doma de trabajo, racional,…La Madrid Horse Week ofrece una amplia variedad en todas las disciplinas ecuestres. En uno de los pabellones donde se situaban las pistas de entrenamiento y los stands y alguna pista de exhibición ahí podías encontrarte con jinetes descansando, aficionados charlando y mirando, restaurantes a rebosar ,gente comprando en las diversas tiendas que ofrecía la Horse Week; y en el otro pabellón se situaba la pista de concurso con las gradas y los palcos. Lo cierto es que allí coincidí y conocí a gente fantástica , personas del mundo del caballo, algunos que ya conocía y me hizo mucha ilusión ver y otros que todavía no había podido conocer pero que se encuentran en mi lista de amigos para siempre.

Whether it is discipline, jumping, dressage, dressage western, shows, dressage, rational, … The Madrid Horse Week offers a wide variety in all equestrian disciplines. In one of the pavilions where were the training tracks and stands and some exhibition hall there you could find rest horsemen, amateurs chatting and watching, restaurants to overflow, people buying in the various shops that offered the Horse Week.Y The other pavilion was located the contest track with the tiers and the stages. The truth is that there I met and met fantastic people, people of the horse world, some that I already knew and I was very excited to see and others that I had not yet been able to know but that are on my list of friends forever.

Marcus Ehning se proclamó vencedor en un fascinante concurso de Salto de La copa Longines y pudimos ver a Beatriz Ferrer Salat ganando el premio Rodilla Free Style. Entre ellos muchos jinetes, nacionales e internacionales, los mejores desde mi punto de vista. Para mí fue un día mágico porque estuve viendo a todos esos jinetes que admiro desde que era niña , desde Beatriz Ferrer Salat en doma,o pasando por Sergio Alvarez, Marcus Ehning, Edwina Tops Alexander o Eduardo Álvarez Aznar en Salto. Tampoco puedo olvidarme de la exhibición de doma de trabajo, esa disciplina que me tiene enamorada también, dónde Mario Sánchez , Jose Antonio García Muñoz ó Mi Da Fonseca… hicieron que el público se abarrotara para poder verlo.

Marcus Ehning was proclaimed winner in a fascinating Longines Salto contest and we were able to see Beatriz Ferrer Salat winning the Free Style Knee Award. Among them many riders, national and international, the best from my point of view. For me it was a magical day because I saw all those horsemen I admire since I was a girl, from Beatriz Ferrer Salat in dressage, or passing by Sergio Alvarez, Marcus Ehning, Edwina Tops Alexander or Eduardo Álvarez Aznar in Salto. Nor can I forget the exhibition of dressage work, that discipline that has me in love too, where Mario Sánchez, Jose Antonio García Muñoz or Mi Da Fonseca … made the audience crowded to see it.

La exhibición de monta Western fue algo de lo que más me llamo la atención y creo que poco a poco se va ganando un hueco en España; me acercó un poco a ella y despertó mi curiosidad.

También estuvieron presentes los caballos de tiro. Preciosos!

También tuve la ocasión de conocer a Santi Serra , ese chico que es capaz de sacar todo lo mejor de sus caballos sorprendiéndonos con sus actuaciones y su simpatía y dejándonos con ganas de ver más y más. Estoy deseando de ver sus espectáculos en directo y de poder escribir sobre todo lo que hace, me parece emocionante y apasionante, debe ser de esas personas mágicas que cubren de magia todo lo que les rodea.

I also had the opportunity to meet Santi Serra, that boy who is able to get all the best of his horses surprising us with his performances and his sympathy and leaving us wanting to see more and more. I’m looking forward to seeing his live shows and being able to write about everything he does, I find it exciting and exciting, it must be those magical people who cover everything that surrounds them with magic.

Entre competición y competición podías pasar por las tiendas de equitación con magníficos productos para todo tipo de aficionados y profesionales. También me llamo la atención la raza de mini burritos que despertaban la expectación de todos los que pasaban por ahí, el caballo de la Universidad Veterinaria con una caballo pintado con sus huesos, o el gran remolque de caballos que había en la exposición…todo cosas que no podías dejas de mirar y disfrutar.. y para los golosos …el poder pasearte entre fuentes de chocolate y llevarte el dulce mientras veías la exposición.

I was also struck by the breed of mini burritos that aroused the expectation of all who passed by, the horse of the Veterinary University with a horse painted with his bones, or the great horse trailer that was in the exhibition … All things you could not stop to watch and enjoy .. and for the sweet tooth … the power to walk between chocolate fountains and take the candy while you see the exhibition.

Para mí la verdad, que es muy difícil expresar por escrito en un post todo lo que ví, lo que sentí o lo que conocí, tendría que escribir cientos de post y creo que me quedaría corta para describir tantas cosas, y todas bonitas, pero todas ellas bellas, y con mucha pasión hasta esta afición que me vuelve loca.

Antes de acabar os dejo con la doma de trabajo, esa disciplina que se está poniendo de moda en nuestro país y que me encanta…

The truth is that is very difficult to express in apost all things that i’ve seen there, maybe I felt or what I knew, I would have to write hundreds of posts and I think I would stay short to describe so many things, and all nice, but All beautiful, and with great passion to this hobby that drives me crazy.
